Concho Farmers Market Policies

General Policies:

  1. Goods must be produced or grown by the vendor within a 100-mile radius of Concho, Arizona. The Concho Farmers Market Board of Directors gives final approval of all vendors and their products.
  2. No products may be offered for sale which are used, or bought from another farmer, crafter, food vendor, store, or wholesaler and resold.
  3. Vendors are responsible for being informed of and abiding by all applicable federal, state and local health regulations and licensing requirements governing the production and sale of their products. Vendors must adhere to federal guidelines when labeling their products. Product claims (organic, pesticide free, etc.) must comply with federal guidelines.
  4. Vendors are asked to smoke in designated smoking areas only.
  5. Vendors are responsible for the set-up, clean-up, and safe operation of their space. Booths generating garbage are responsible for trash collection and removal.
  6. Pricing is at the discretion of individual vendors.
  7. All vendors have a responsibility to behave in a courteous and professional manner.
  8. Vendors may not sublet their space or transfer their selling privileges to others.
  9. Pets are allowed at the Farmers Market at the discretion of the Board of Directors or an authorized representative.
  10. Concho Farmers Market, Inc. reserves the right to prohibit anyone from selling or to prohibit any product from being sold.
  11. Concho Farmers Market Board of Directors must give prior approval for the gathering of signatures on a petition or any other political activity within the Market.
  12. The Concho Farmers Market, Inc. exists for the benefit of the community and vendors, and the Market encourages all vendors to help strengthen and improve the Market by volunteering.
  13. Concho Farmers Market, Inc. reserves the right to make exception to these rules at its discretion.
  14. Concho Farmers Market, Inc. is not responsible for any loss or damage incurred by the vendors.
  15. All vendors will receive a copy of these rules when payment is received.

Market Times

  1. The Market is held on Saturdays beginning in May through October. Hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. May through September. October hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  2. Vendors will not sell before opening and will not depart before the closing of the Market.
  3. All vendor spaces not occupied 15 minutes before opening may be sold to daily vendors.

Fees and Procedures

  1. Season passes are available to farmers, vendors of processed and packaged foods, food vendors, and crafters for $75. The season pass will allow the vendor to sell for the season, which includes 26 Saturdays. Season passes will reserve a space for the vendor.
  2. Half-season passes are available to approved vendors for $40. The half-season pass allows vendors to sell for any 13 Saturdays in the season. However, vendors not in their reserved place 15 minutes before opening will forfeit their space for that day.
  3. Available spaces are rented at a daily rate of $10.00 to approved vendors.
  4. Trial Vendors wishing to sell their product at the Market may participate for one Saturday at a reduced one-time rate of $5.00. Thereafter they will be charged the regular rate.
  5. We suggest each booth space display a sign identifying the vendor by the name and location (nearest town) of the farm/business.
  6. Vehicles are not allowed to drive inside the area of the Market while open for sales. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  7. Vendor vehicles not used inside the market are to park behind the Concho Assistance Center (which is located across the street and also known as the Food Bank).
